NAME

cvdelete - CCVS deletion utility

SYNOPSIS

cvdelete [-V] [-c configname] invoice

DESCRIPTION

The cvdelete program removes all traces of a transaction from the system. This will free up some resources for use, and will allow you to create a new transaction with a given invoice. This is the only way to re-use an invoice.

If you do not delete transactions when they're no longer needed, eventually the large number of unused transactions could have a negative impact on the performance of the system. In addition, you could run out of invoices.

OPTIONS

-V
Display the version of CCVS being used and then exit without performing any work.
-c configname
Use the configuration specified by configname. You can also specify this with the CCVS_CONFIG_NAME environment varible.
