Peter Childers, Vice President, Global Learning Services   Peter has been involved in computing, education, and training since the early 1980s when he worked at the Yale AI Lab in the field of natural language processing. He has managed professional services, training, and certification programs for Nortel, NetEdge Systems (now part of Larscom), Seagate Software's Network Management Group (now part of Veritas), and other IT companies in the fields of UNIX, networking, network management, and client/server applications. Upon joining Red Hat in 1998 as manager of training, Peter saw an opportunity to create a top-tier certification model for Linux, and chart a new path in the IT training and certification industry. Along with a team of capable and devoted Red Hatters he designed and launched the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification. Click here to go back
