Kim Knutilla, Vice President, Engineering Services   Kim is responsible for the technical direction of Red Hat's contract engineering business and the delivery of custom technological solutions to customers. Prior to assuming this position, he was the vice president of engineering at Cygnus, and held several other positions there. Before joining Cygnus in 1995, Kim spent twelve years with IBM Toronto Labs working on RISC code generation for RS/6000 and C++ language implementation and compiler architecture. Previously, Kim managed the development of software products for three-dimensional visualization of real-time data streams. He is a founding member of the ANSI X3J16 C++ committee.
