Howard Jacobson, Senior Vice President, Technical Workstation As Senior Vice President of Technical Workstation, Howard is currently leading the expansion of Red Hat's opportunity into the developer and technical workstation markets. Previously at Red Hat, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible for Red Hat's new market initiatives, mergers and acquisitions and investing. Howard had previous roles at Red Hat as Director of Internet Business and Manager of Business Development. Before joining Red Hat, Mr. Jacobson was a partner at the law firm of Moore & Van Allen, PLLC in Raleigh, North Carolina where he represented primarily small software companies in a variety of intellectual property transactional matters. He began his career as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles.
