If you're running either the GNOME or KDE GUI desktop environments, just
place the Red Hat Linux Apache/SSL Server CD into your CD-ROM drive. You'll be prompted for the
root password. After you type in the root password, either the
Gnome-RPM or Kpackage package management program will start up
automatically. You can then use either of these GUI point-and-click
programs to install the Red Hat Linux Apache/SSL Server RPM packages.
More information on how to use Gnome-RPM is included in both the
Official Red Hat Linux Reference Guide and the
Official Red Hat Linux Getting Started Guide. Instructions on how to use Kpackage are
included on Kpackage's Web page at http://www.general.uwa.edu.au/u/toivo/kpackage/.
