Description
Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a remote display system which
allows you to view a computing desktop environment not only on the
machine where VNC is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and
from a wide variety of architectures. VNC is different from X in
several ways: no state is stored at the VNC viewer, VNC is small and
simple, VNC is truly platform-independent, and one desktop can be
displayed and used by several viewers at once.
